Local jeweler Eddie Lane's Diamond Showroom was an advertiser on Hubbard Radio' 2060 Digital when account executive Jason Budzik brought them a new idea.

The radio's in-house agency, 2060 Digital, is expert in social media and wanted to show the client how they could take advantage of the surge in acitivity and brand engagement on Pinterest.

The team persuaded the client to let them take over management of their Pinterest account to publish more content. Posts included a broad selection of their inventory.

A few weeks after the posting schedule began, a man came into the store with a printed screenshot of Eddie Lane's Pinterest page, with a $10,000 ring circled in ink.

The customer told the merchant his wife saw the ring on the Pinterest page and asked him to buy it for her.

Needless to say the jeweler is happy with its new Pinterest strategy.
