Shaw Media, Swift Media, CNHI launch “Top Agent” real estate platform

Wehaa’s Top Agent Ads platform offers new revenue for real estate

Shaw Media Group is one of three new newspaper groups to launch Agent & Broker Promotions, a platform created by Wehaa. Swift Media has signed up with the program, selecting Glenwood Springs Post as its first market and rolling into SteamBoat Today. CNHI is also launching starting with Muskogee Pheonix in Muskogee, OK according to Kevin Collins, VP of Sales and Marketing for Wehaa.

 

These are three of the latest newspaper groups to take advantage of new interest by real estate agents in branding ads that create listing opportunities and increase brand awareness for local agents.

The Illinois-based Shaw Media Group already hosts ShawMediaHomes.com, built on Wehaa’s New Homes ShowCase platform, and sold primarily to brokers.

As Shaw acquired more newspapers, it wanted to offer more options so individual agents could also acquire branding and exposure. The Agent & Broker Promotions platform allows them to offer hyper-targeting as well as Facebook and Instagram behavioral targeting (promotional flyer attached).

The new platform changed the brand from Shaw Suburban Homes to Shaw Media Homes - Top Agents.

Agents are now featured on the site as well as having dynamic banners promoting the agent brand across Shaw Media’s network.

Banner ads for Top Agents will also be rotated on newspaper websites.

Agent & Broker Promotions sales packages include marketing on a Facebook page and dynamic carousel Facebook ads targeting the neighborhood’s real estate intenders. These dynamic carousel ads zero in on real estate buyers AND sellers. Top agent pages are responsive and areas of an agent’s expertise are enhanced for Google rankings, said Kevin Collins.

Swift Media, CNHI and Shaw Media all see the value of promoting agents and now have a turn-key white label solution to help go to market. The big aggregates like Zillow and Trulia do not offer a solution that promotes the local agent.  Agent & Broker Promotions takes advantage of Wehaa’s feedless technology and social media integration makes it a comprehensive solution that offers powerful lead generation as well as agent branding. CHNI will launch in May, with a workshop for Real Estate agents. Mr. Collins will be traveling to the market to host the workshop and provide Q and A to the local agents.

“With so many initiatives in the works, one of our core services is to provide sales support in the market for launching programs,” Mr. Collins said. Wehaa has two newspaper veterans supporting platform launches.

Agent & Broker Promotions has several valuable components for your local agents including the social media advertising to hyper-local real estate intenders, dynamic banners and agent profile pages on the newspaper’s website, trackable local phone numbers, agent reports and a digital-to-print reverse publishing feature. All clicks go directly to the agent’s website and anchors on the listing they clicked from the newspaper website. Wehaa includes UTM tracking on all outgoing clicks.
